Overpriced prescription drugs is a serious issue facing Canadians. It affects people from all social classes putting substantial financial stress on majority of citizens. 3.5 million Canadians are unable to fill their medication due to the costs. The government is letting drug companies take advantage of us by allowing them to charge significantly higher prices than what these products are worth.

What we are hoping to accomplish

-Bring awareness and find a solution to the issue of Overpriced Prescription Drugs

-Have the government implicate harsher restrictions on prices of these prescription

-To encourage the government to alter the drug plan policy so that Canadians are covered by their medical demands and not what provinces they take residence in

Reasons for starting the Petition:

Create a more unified Canada, that allows all citizens to afford life sustaining products that are prescriptions. My hope is that everyone one day will have access to these products without substituting basic needs or carrying serious financial stress.

If you sign our petition you will join the action, and advocate for change in Canada's issue of Overpriced Prescription drugs.
