Since the beginning of the school year, Assunta Carey and I (Aly Homan) have been working to establish a movement in PVI to promote Anti-Bullying. Given what has taken place in the last school day, we are all aware of the effect it poses on each one of us, whether directly involved or not. The crude comments and accusations all constitute bullying. I hope that by initiating the Love is Louder Club at PVI, we can all come together to work toward the common goal of reducing the amount of bullying we see day-to-day. The change we want to see in the world begins with us. By signing this petition, that change begins. Help to amplify the idea that love and support are louder and more powerful than any other voice trying to bring one down. Our club will provide students who feel isolated, mistreated, or misunderstood a safe place to turn for not only help, but hope. A situation like this should not have to take place in order for us to realize and unite on the idea that bullying needs to be ceased. The more voices that join the movement, the louder our message will become.
