Tired of being bullied, harassed, or made fun of?
Want to show your support of homosexuals in your school district?
Hi, I'm Connor Hulett, your Student Council Exec. Board President, and I'm bisexual.
Please, join me and several of your cohorts in creating a new club that will help you accomplish all of these tasks, and more. The Gay-Straight Alliance would help spread awareness and protection of Lesbians, Gay, Bisexuals, Transexuals, the Genderqueer and others.
By signing this petition you are voicing your support for the minority here in ACCJSHS, those who desperately need your help in having a voice. This petition is not a sign-up for the club. You do not have to join the club if you sign this petition, and your signature may remain anonymous. However, we need as many plain signatures as possible if we are going to start up thus club this year.

I have officially requested a formal hearing with the school board to present these signatures and review the requirements for establishing a new club. My focus is now on drafting the necessary bylaws and identifying a faculty sponsor to oversee our operations.

The administration has acknowledged our petition and requested a formal meeting to discuss policy requirements for new student organizations. I am currently drafting a briefing document to outline our objectives for the GSA prior to that session.

I really hope this happens. ACCJSHS needs a place where people can actually feel safe to be themselves.
Seriously needed, school is rough enough already.
