The way LouAnn Burnham treats her students is absolutely unacceptable. Nobody deserves to be talked to the way she does to us. She treats us like children, and being a true hypocrite, turns right around and becomes outright rude because we should be acting like adults. She uses her position of authority as a threat, and believes she is superior to all her students rather than listening to us. Even though we have tried many times to discuss the way she treats us with her several times in a civil way, she refuses to see that her actions are hurting those around her. This petition is not to get LouAnn fired. We just need to raise awareness to the principal, counselors, and most importantly to LouAnn Burnham herself.We just want a few minutes **UNINTERRUPTED** to state our claims, in front of principals, counselors and Mrs. Burnham. Until the adults in a position of power realize that we are very serious about this issue, nothing will be resolved.
We are not asking for much, just a little respect.
We encourage ALL students that has had Mrs. Burnham as a teacher to sign and comment with your feelings. PAST and PRESENT!

As a student teacher now, I can honestly say I use Burnham's instructional methods as a model of "what not to do". She abuses her power as an educator, makes students feel inadequate, and is extremely disrespectful in the classroom setting. Burnham's negativity should not be tolerated. Students should be encouraged to reach for higher goals and expectations, and not be disheartened in any way.
She enjoys using the full extent of what little power she has on making students lives more difficult. With her reasoning being, "I'm preparing you for college." Well, I can gladly say that college is absolutely nothing like LouAnn Burnhams class.
She has taken 30 points off one of my assignments because it wasn’t on the paper she wanted it on . She is rude to her students and is unfair.
She disrespects her students. If she hates us then she can leave this school. Senior year is supposed to easy & fun. Not dealing with mean & ignorant teachers like her. She puts her students up for failure. She is the worst English teacher I have ever had in my life! I wish she would leave this school.
First day I'm in her class "I don't like you, not as a student but as a person, I don't like you at all" Amazing teacher
Called me stupid and was increasably rude
She told me to drop the class on the first week of school

I've never met a more outrageously disrespectful and atrociously mean human being in my life. If you hate people and kids, cool, but don't sign up to teach school and sprinkle your infectious misery on every poor soul in sight.
