We are in the final stages of setting up Rising Sun parkrun and would like to gain some evidence of local support for this new North East parkrun to support our funding application.
Rising Sun parkrun will add to the growing pool of North East parkruns and provide another location at which to enjoy a free, weekly, timed, 5km run each Saturday morning at 9am.
Our aim is to increase running participation within the region :)
Location: Rising Sun Country Park, Whitley Road, Benton, Newcastle upon Tyne, NE12 9SS.
