I've been there lots of times and the noise is at an acceptable level. The complainant is a trouble maker the music was there before he was. . Its like living by the seaside and complaining about the seagulls.

The ship Inn is an incredible place. They attract thousands of visitors to the area each year but not only that they are so incredibly community oriented it's unreal. They not only support local artists and local people who need help, they regularly hold large charity events raising thousands of pounds for local causes. In lockdowns they not only provided food to those who were vulnerable and in isolation, they drove miles delivering it and then miles more to collect the plates in again. Then they gave away food and drink for free! They care about the staff and even close the doors for a couple of days following extremely busy periods so they can rest up. And that's just a small snippet of stuff!! The ship Inn will always have my support.

There’s some very miserable people after the lockdown. This is happening all over the East Riding. Trouble is the council’s taking 6 months to sort it out. Ridiculous

The atmosphere without the music would not be the same. The entertainment adds to people paying into the local economy.

Have enjoyed many happy hours listening to live music at The Ship, and they try very hard to encourage young musicians. Charlie and Lou do so much for the surrounding community and it would be a real shame if they had to stop the music due to a few miserable minded people.

A terrible decision by ER council
This can ruin our local pub and needs correcting
