We can't understand why live music is to be banned at the Ship. We love this venue and love to stay in the immediate area.

Not to mention this is a lovely garden and something enjoyable for all in the summer time but cancelling music will affect many musicians who play at The Ship. Being a musician myself playing regularly at The Ship, this directly affects our livelihood.

Sad that so many have to bend to the will of the few, who seem to enjoy complaining about good things for the community and indeed the wider East Riding area. For shame Seagate View residents!

the live music at the ship inn brings our community together and helps local talent to be heard. music helps us to come together after so long being separated due to covid-19 and overall makes people happy. the music that is on at the ship inn is once a week, on a weekend and on an afternoon for a few hours. the music is off before nightfall each week.

What's wrong with music? It brings people together and helps with people's mental health amongst many other things

Keep music live. Venues and artists are struggling enough at the moment. East Yorkshire has a great tradition of live music which is under threat like never before.

It would be tragic to lose live music at The Ship. We travel from far afield to see acts here, as do many others
