This is a great venue providing entertainment to residents of East Riding & holiday makers alike during the summer season. It's a terrible shame it has to stop.

3 hours on a summer weekend afternoon should be acceptable to all. These music afternoons pulls the community together and provides good quality entertainment for the tourists that the area needs.

Live Music is hugely important for people - the impact on mental wellbeing is only just being recognised, having venues to share, grow and develop talents for artists is massive too - after 2 years of having nowhere to perform these artists need venues and not the least to be able to earn a living and then that also applies to the landlords too. Pubs are so much under threat and a village that has one SHOULD support it.

I was there last week, and I appreciate what the neighbours say, however the music was very low, and not intrusive

Live music has been a staple of Saturday and Sunday afternoons at the Ship Inn. As a resident of Sewerby, the music has been a welcome.

The live music is important to the local economy and also to the pleasure of many visitors during the summer months. Any inconvenience is negligeable to the many gains during the short summer season !!

We should be supporting buisnesses as long as they don't go on two late and not every day I don't see the problem and residents can work together just for the odd day

This must not be allowed to happen, buy a house next to a pub you have to expect noise. I fully support the Ship, play the music, entertain us

It's a real shame when an established business gets targeted by nimbys. It's hardly slipknot or Metallica, and it's never anti-social.
