So many acts started life at the music sessions at The Ship...don't let this NIMBY attitude prevail

I find it very hard to comprehend why the locals are doing this, after 2 tough years while businesses have struggled to survive, they should be striving to help the local community and businesses. It makes me very sad

We live on Sea Gate View and appreciate the music, some more than others. We would love to have it back, it is only for a few hours on the weekend in the afternoons. The Ship Inn has been here longer than Sea Gate View or its residents. If you move near to a pub you expect to have a bit of related noise. Some of the complainers haven't lived here very long and the music was being played long before they bought their homes. It isn't new , they are. Please bring it back.

The ship inn continually does a lot for the local community and is an excellent inclusive venue, the live music is wonderful and would be an absolute loss for the local area and town. Bring it back!

Live music is a must, as long it’s in the permitted hours why can’t it continue!

The noise is not excessive or unsocial. If you choose to live next door to a pub then there are certain compromises that you need to make.

Seems very unfair and depremental to a business to stop this when the fair ground nearer to the town centre has blaring music most days which can be heard up towards sewerby. This surely is sour grapes on the residents part and doesn’t happen every day

Ridiculous decision not to allow the ship inn sewerby to continue with live music! Maybe the council should look at all the good work they do for the community and charity's they support.
