The stories I keep hearing from these caregivers about their daily lives are heavier than I ever imagined. It is becoming increasingly difficult to process the depth of this exploitation while we fight for basic recognition. I am exhausted by the silence from those in power but I am not walking away from this.

Reaching this point in our campaign has been an exhausting climb but seeing this level of attention gives me the strength to keep pushing forward. It is clear that more people are finally looking at the exploitation hidden behind these closed doors.

how is this still happening in canada?? so wrong.
these women are the backbone of so many families and they get treated like absolute garbage. shameful.
Seen it happen to a friend. The system is set up for them to fail and stay trapped. Change the policy already.
My cousin went through this exact nightmare. She was working for pennies and never got a day off. It needs to stop now.
stop the exploitation!! these workers are human beings not disposable tools for rich people to use and abuse.

Every person deserves basic rights at work. Living with your boss is not a reason to be treated like a slave or abused. fix the laws.
