I am a resident of Poway.I am opposed to the City Council of Poway approving the Lifetime Athletic/The Farm in Poway LLC proposal. This is not what what was voted on in 2020.

These changes being asked for result in an increase in intensity and traffic. The Farm in Poway Specific Plan states changes resulting in an increase in density, intensity, traffic=citizen vote. Let the citizens of Poway vote!!

The city council continues to ignore the mandate from the 2020 vote. We are preparing to challenge these new plans directly at the next public hearing.

Expanding a business size by a factor of 10, along with an expensive membership cost will ensure an increase in traffic. Changing traffic analysis methods is apples and oranges, not equivalence! Build what was approved, or support the community vote.

Goodeve Drive, which connects Espola Rd to the site of the fitness center (hopefully NOT Lifetime) is a small street with houses on both sides, a Tot Lot, and potentially kids playing nearby. A busy street makes it noisy for homes and unsafe for pedestrians.

I only voted for the Farm measure because of the originally proposed plan (butterfly garden, community garden, tot lot, trails, local businesses, restaurants). This was a deceitful move by the developer to change without public comment

Stick to the original plan as what was provided to the voters. Don't let these developers bully their way to get what they want through bait and switch tactics. If we don't draw a line in the sand over this, what else will the developers want to change?

A massive commercial space was not in the plan. To add it after the vote is disingenuous and driven by greed. Do the right thing and support this special community. No major commercial space revisions to the redevelopment plan elected by voters.

This whole development that the city approved is a disgrace! Homes on elevated pads destroying longtime residents views that they paid dearly for. And now this we are strongly opposed to any changes to what was approved by the voters!

I live at The Farm and we don't have the road to handle the traffic this public business will bring. They are planning to put Lifetime in the middle of a family residential community. The main road that takes you to Lifetime is also where the Tot lot and gardens are located so there will be al lot of pedestrian traffic (especially kids) on top of the vehicles driving up to Lifetime and the homes up the hill. This needs to move to another location

Bait and switch. Allow the voters to have a say about the changes.
