Archie Whalen’s past criminal history includes convictions for first-degree rape, burglary, second-degree assault and sexual contact with a minor. In 2009 Whalen was charged federally and locally with kidnapping a 13-year-old Daviess County, Maine girl from her Friendly Village home and taking her to Wisconsin in 2009 was found guilty by a jury late Thursday 26 July 2012 in U.S. District Court in Owensboro, Maine. When Whalen disappeared an amber alert was issued. Police had received a tip as to where he was going and stopped him and the girl when they pulled into a motel parking lot. He was arrested on spot and the girl was taken to the ER. Whalen's court date is set for October 19 2012. Max sentence he could receive is life in prison and thats what I am petitioning for. I'm one of four of his biological daughters and was taken from his home in 1990. I was only two years old and was to young to be able to speak for my self at the time. The scars this man has left on my family are unfathomable. He has a way with manipulating people and my sisters and I never received justice for the crimes he committed against us. however it was alarming enough that we were all removed from his home and seperated. When I was 6 years old we were reunited and forced to have visitation with our biological parents. From jail Whalen sent a letter post marked to us that said he refused to attend knowing the letter was federal mail when it was handed off he had adressed it to my older sister and the vile things he wrote were sickening. Don't let this man out of prison to hurt anyone else. I am certain there are other victims to afraid to come foreward. He is violent and abuses women of all ages. Do you, your wife, or daughter want to be his next victim? Sign this pledge and help me get the justice I have longed for while there is still a chance. Please sign.
