Wrigley Field offers many theme nights for fans to share experiences with people who have the same interests and who are from the same backgrounds. These nights are scheduled for nurses, law enforcement, boy scouts, firefighters, armed forces, and many more. In this petition, we are asking Wrigley Field to institute a Librarian Appreciation Night. Librarians help everyone, regardless of their backgrounds, by providing personal assistance with and access to information and technology, they provide a free meeting place for people to share ideas and nourish their intellect, and they help maintain a thriving and knowledgeable community. We're happy that Wrigley Field acknowledges the heroes of our community, and while we're also looking forward to Weather Education night, Social Media Night, and Oktoberfest night, we hope that the Cubs organization will schedule a Librarian Appreciation Night so fans can show their support for the people who are there for them throughout the year. We'll send this to the Cubs Organization once we reach 2,012 signatures.
