THIS IS RIDICULOUS. how are kids supposed to learn to read properly without someone to guide them? stop cutting funding for our schools!!
My wife is a librarian and she does so much more than just check out books. People have no idea what they actually do all day.
schools are falling apart. keep the librarians.
Librarians are essential. Not everyone has internet at home so school libraries are the only way they learn how to research. Leave them alone!
My kids love the library. Taking that away is just wrong. Schools need books and the people who know how to help them find them.

so sad that we are even having this conversation. kids need safe spaces to read and grow. keep the librarians employed.
