Rent needs to come down, but if this did come off the showies should also lower their prices to attract more people also

I think its bang out of order how much the council charging the showies its well over 3x what it use to be and the same for locals who want to pitch up for the day why can't it go back to the old price then we get more showies and stalls and it would definitely bring more ppl to highland games

Nairn Council get the rates down in price charge them nothing it is nice to see them but they are getting less and less every year

It's not rocket science if you take the cost down you will get more showers and probably make the same amount of money

Nairn is a Royal burer wich means at it can stop the showman form come to Nairn and some one need to look in to is and put is to the local people and businesses and force the local councillosrs to look at is if so arrogant just think off. Them selves is bring,s in a lot revenue to the local councillors fund and dus not some ask to see the revenue from the past yrs at been going tell them were to go

Love the funfair sooooo much hate it cause some rides that used to be there a few years ago but concil with the money is just not on

Surely the council could waive the fees for this fortnight. This is a time for the town & tourists, which in itself would bring in enough revenue I'm sure. The Council are a disgrace and should look to the likes of Shetland & Moray who put their people first. You only have to see the quality of their public amenities & play parks!

The council should give the ground to the showies for free, it is never used for anything. It is bringing people to Nairn.

Its a no-brainer, cut the cost attract more people in, more folks flock in for the fun , more cash gets spent, everyone benefits. Stop being so damned greedy.
