its about time the council stopped doing what they want and listen to the people .the money generated by the showies in the 2 weeks does the town well and people come from all over the world to see the games the showies are the build up to that .so please stop the skyhigh rates for one of nairns most loved fortnight

Born and brought up in nairn and the showies were the highlight of my year!! Will definitely reduce business in nairn. Council need to consider what the locals would like!

Nairn will have nothing left if the showies stop coming here. There won't be much of a games day for the town either. Showies played a big part in it for many years.

Absolutly disgusted that the highland council are trying to ruin nairn's biggest attraction. Lets face it no showies, means no tourists which mean no more nairn. Keep the showies coming and give our children our the chance to make the memories we got the chance to make

Its a shame to see what was once one of the north's most looked forward to gatherings of Showie's dwindle off to what it has become. Time to sort it out, cut the greed and start giving back to the people of Nairnshire. After all the links area is untouched and unused for the majority of the year..........
