Having the showies in our town attracts tourists who spend money locally. It makes no sense to make the rent so expensive that the showies do not want / cannot afford to come. We are a tourist town we should be doing everything possible to keep up this tradition.

Custodians of the CommonGood fund, please immediately engage in a commercial dialogue with the Showies. Establish what can be done, and act on findings to the benefit of all parties involved. Nairn businesses depend on tourists and visitors.

If the showies are getting smaller each year, which they are, let's stop them getting smaller Now before they stop coming altogether by sorting the issue. Games day is a Big part of Nairn...and it needs tourism
