This Tradition must be kept at all cost, my late mother was born in the Fisher town and was a proud Nairnite.

What I would like to see is a balance sheet of what it costs the council to host and what the council gets in return. Is it Nairn or Highland Region Council in Inv that set the rates?

Without the shows the Nairn games would just not be the same! Families come from far and wide for this day and I have to say it's probably more because of the shows. It brings people to Nairn and puts money back in to the local community!! Bars, shops etc....

Please do not let avarice prevent enjoyment for a small town. We need to think of the community!

Games day in Nairn is one of the highlights I look forward to every year. Is there nothing the council and government won't ruin for greed.

It would be such a shame to lose this tradition as it stands the showed get less and less each year and if this was to end I think that it would have a serious impact on the local economy

Common good land should serve the town and be used for community events etc. Charges should be only to cover the maintenance costs.
