Please restore the birdfeeders. The birds need this to help them get through the cold winter months.

Please put the feeders back. They've been there for 15 years. No reason to take them down.

I'm sorry, but you sound like idiots for removing these. I'm sure it's an innocent mistake. Please correct it now. Thank you!!

The bird feeding stations need to be restored. It was unfair for them to be removed without discussion. This group is dedicated to maintaining the feeders and they have the support of the community.

Needless to say this is a ridiculous action by the NYC Parks Department. Let's hope they give this second thought and allow those who want to preserve nature replace the feeders.

Please allow citizens to restore the bird feeders. Do not add to the stress of living in the city, for both people and birds, by denying this simple, wholesome pleasure.

Setting up a bird feeding station is essential to the survival of the birds during the winter months as well as our winter arrivals such as red breasted nuthatches, chickadees, juncos, white throated sparrows, song sparrows, downy woodpeckers, pine siskins, to name a few looking for a quick meal where no bugs are available. Please allow us to put up a bird feeder and allow the birds a safe haven for the winter with a food supply for the coming frigid temperatures. Thank you.

We visit often and enjoy the winter time bird feeders. It brings some magic to life during the dead of winter.

I find it unbelievable that the "Parks Department" would remove bird feeders at the time birds most need them to survive cold weather. Formal approval MUST be given, if necessary......our precious local urban natural environment MUST include birds to survive, and the people who run the "Parks Department" need to be educated in how nature works. I am sick and tired of paying high taxes in the NYC area to support stupid anti-nature decisions. Stop wasting my money and do the right thing!
