Bird populations are dropping each year. We need to help birds survive any way we can. Bird feeders maintained with the proper rules respected is a small price for helping birds, as well as the joy they bring to those who love watching them.

Have a heart! This is for the birds, and the enjoyment of the people who love the park and the birds! Put them back up!

The birds which frequent Forest Park provide joy to many of us throughout the winter. Feeding them is simply a matter of justice!

Since these sites are well maintained by park goers, it seems to be in everyone's best interest to keep these bird feeding sites operative in Forest Park. Other park goers get to enjoy the songs of winter birds, the birds get fed, and the people feeding them get even more enjoyment. To me, this seems like nothing but a win win, building positive relationships all around with other community members as well as using the NYC parks.

Please allow the feeders back in Forest park. It is an important stopover spot for migrants and they need all the help they can get.

Bird feeders allow everyone to appreciate birds, and it is beneficial to the birds. Feeding birds is encouraged by the Cornell Lab of Ornithology, who runs "Project Feederwatch" and has webcams on their own feeders. Let's bring nature closer to all Queens residents!

I have seen feeders up in Evodia Field, Central Park. I see no reason why Forest Park cannot do the same thing. Winter is coming, and the birds need this supplement in order to survive.
