It is the most dangerous road in Calhoun County.. I have worn out my vehicles on this road. It is more like a logging road with a little pavement throwed on top of it. i have almost got hit head on several times simple because me and the other vehicles I meet trying to find a smooth spot to ride.
Travel this road twice a day to get to work and back home. It is horrible when it rains and it is even more horrible on the wear and tear on our vehicles. Both of the covers on my fog lights have fell of because of the condition of the road!
This road is horrible dry or wet. When wet it is a real danger. The ruts and pot holes cause you to loose control. School buses use this road daily.
I've already commented but just wanted to say to everyone. Please, please sign this! Something has got to be done! We know of some people that we're going to build in Big Creek. When they came to look the guy said he was going to wait because the road was so bad it would tear up his wife's car!! Gosh! That's embarrassing!
I live in Big Creek and travel this road everyday. It is in really bad shape. It is dangerous to drive it because people or picking and choosing where to dodge this hole and that one. It holds water almost everywhere on it making it is to hydroplane. I lved here 40 years and I've never seen it this bad.
I have drove that road all my life and it's just awful now.. Will mess a vehicle up
New to the community, but 306 from Calhoun to Big Creek is well traveled and should be a well maintained road.

The money that was spent putting a turn lane on the BRIDGE in Calhoun City would have been better spent on repaving the road to Big Creek! I guess we need to be able to turn into the canal more than we need a safe road to drive on!!
