I have been watching Y&R regularly since the first day Paul (Doug) appeared on the show and is the only reason I've continued to watch Y&R for the past 40 years!! PLEASE do not fire him or you will be losing a very loyal viewer!!!

There is a place on the show for Doug Davidson. If you want to lose viewership this is the way to do it by ignoring history and firing beloved actors who have devoted themselves to YR. Please reconsider and bring him back.

It's not right to get rid of a veteran who has been w/ the show for so long & is an excellent actor. Doug needs a good storyline with more airtime, not a thoughtless write-off!

I remember my Mom introducing Y&R to me and I saw the show during my lunch. No video player then. Doug was always having trouble with his Mother. So long ago. You have made him into the dumbest cop in the world and a wimp to Kristine. You are ruining Y&R by getting rid of the entire cast that was good and giving awful story lines to make them leave. Mel Young can leave and we will bring back Doug.

Doug Davidson is the BEST actor on Y&R!! I've noticed that he has NOT been in the scripts too much lately. Today he has been let go from Y&R, this is a disgrace!! I will no longer watch the show until he is returned to the show!
