What a foolish move on behalf of the poor leadership within CBS! Doug's superb acting (reminder, he won the Emmy for Best Actor!) and charismatic personal character are why viewers (like me) are drawn to the show. I'm ready to not only boycott Y n R, but boycott the whole network! I am SOOOO DISAPPOINTED!!!!

Please provide MORE AIRTIME ! For the Amazing Talented Emmy Award Winning Doug Davidson! I have been an avid fan for 40 years! Y&R is really the last holdout for great daytime TV! And I watch while anxiously awaiting the arrival or news of Paul Williams! Please stand by your Premier Actor! I truly LOVE DOUG DAVIDSON!!!

Doug Davidson is the best reason to watch daytime TV. He's certainly the best actor in Y&R, and the soaps in general. It's disgraceful for CBS to treat him so shabbily.

After 40 years of loyalty, Doug does not deserve to be tossed aside because you feel you no longer need him on the show. News alert....he is one of the main reasons the show still exists! Not that you care, but no Doug....you lost me as a viewer! Along with many other faithful Y&R fans. Doug will be just fine, the show, not so much!

I have watched the show since 1978 and Doug has been my favorite actor. His work has been outstanding. Y & R has been turned into the Phyllis show, tired of it!!!

As a Y&R fan of 45 years and a fan of Doug Davidson his entire tenure on YR, I sign this petition on behalf of millions of YR fans worldwide! We want the iconic Paul Williams character to remain on canvas in a vital ongoing role on The Young and the Restless. The Emmy winning soap veteran Doug Davidson deserves it after 40 years!
