When Paul killed Ricky, when he goes to visit Patty.... those are some of the most emotional scenes I have seen on Y&R and I’ve been watching for 25 years. You can’t let Doug go!

How could you even consider getting rid of an ORIGINAL cast member?! Outrageous. He’s an amazing actor and has a history with so many of GC’s characters - keep Paul Williams and give him a good storyline!

I have watched this show for so many years and I love Doug's character. So full of love and lots of tough love when it comes to his friends and family. He has been one of the longest actors on the show. Though I haven't watched Y&R for years now, I will say he is one of the actors that makes the show worth while. I can name a few long time actors and actresses on that show that make it great. Paul Williams can not leave! Doug Davidson is the only one who can play Paul! Keep him going. If he is not going to be on then whomever is in charge should be fired. Not cool!!!

He is an amazing actor and has made Y&R what it is today. Veteran actors are the heart of soap operas and when they are asked to leave it is not only a betrayal to the actor but to the fans of the show. Think about that.

This is not the CHANGE that we want!! You have added so many new characters - why don’t you give Paul a good storyline to work with instead of pushing him out?!

How disrespectful to this long time vet. He belongs on this show front and center and I would rather see Paul than Rey, Tessa Arturo and Shauna any day. U will only loose fans!

If Kevin, Ronan, Christine, and everyone else work with Paul in the force, then why can’t Rey?? You need a mix of the old and the new characters. You lose your loyal fans when you get rid of the staple characters that they grew up with watching!

Doug (Paul) is so important to this show!! The new regime thinks it is smart to let go of the characters that made this show a success! Get rid of TESSA!!
