I have watched Y&R since it began. I was 5. For 40 years Doug has been on my TV screen. I’m so disappointed at his firing and treatment by the show! Just ridiculous!

This is outrageous! He is one of the most beloved actors on Daytime TV. Stop bringing in inexperienced actors and keep the ones that know the business. We watch the soaps for these actors/characters.

Doug’s character Paul is an integral part of Y&R, and if you would take the time to learn Paul’s backstory, you could bring so many new storylines in. He has a daughter, a sister, a brother. He has a strong history with many of the characters. You cannot have a show with only young characters - Doug is an amazing actor and his loyalty and the love his fans have for him should be appreciated and respected.
