I was unaware he is being pressured out of his job?i have followed him and character for 40 years.the writing used to be good on him.anymore, the writing has made him a bit of a keystone cop.i feel the writing is not like what it used to be with all that are on the soap and feel the writers should be replaced more than this guy.at least give his character a good send off with a better story if the soap is trying to get rid of him.otherwise, get his character back to what it used to be.

Doug is a great actor. Y & R seems to get rid of the older actors. They need new writers. Seems this Young guy is trying to get the show off the air. I have watched this show for 40 years.

I think with changes like this Y&R could end up losing a vast majority of viewers.
