After 41 yrs of watching Y&R has went dark for me! Taking away the characters that gave the show its history is just wrong! Your dedicated fan's voices shld be heard!

"Paul" is one of the cornerstones of Y and R!! He needs to stay to keep up his quest to catch Victor! I am not thrilled with the direction the show is headed. Good luck to you Doug ❤

I’ve been watching since Doug started on YR. He is much loved by fans, is a wonderful actor and we need Paul Williams and all his history. What a sad day

If you keep getting rid of the old faves, Y&R runs the risk of no longer being an old fave itself.

Instead of firing Doug Y&R should be doing more to create storylines for him. The beloved stars are leaving, or being pushed out the door. Eileen Davidson. Michael Morgan, Eric Bearden will be taking an extended leave of absence soon so the original cast is being cast aside for what reason? Salaries? Doug Davidson has given so much to his character and to Y&R and this is his you treat him? No. Wrong in every level.

Not really sure what’s going on, but to replace a beloved character with a new one and hand them the same storyline is a slap in the face to longtime viewers. Soap fans don’t like huge cast changes. Your audience consists of generations that have grown with these characters. New characters won’t bring new viewers but consistency might keep loyal ones. Get it together YandR!!!

Doug Davidson is a cornerstone and pillar that has brought so much to the stories on Y&R, and too be fired is a horrible turn if affairs. STOP IT NOW! Return Doug Davidson to the cast immediately!
