Seriously Mal Young or whover is responsible for firing Doug Davidson...you are doing irreparable damage to the long running Y&R.
Young millenials are not interested in soaps...you will never get the audience that this soap has...ever.
These veteran characters are what made the show the way it is. That's why we tune in.
Lose them...and you will lose the Y&R entirely.

The show has been wrecked lately. Total upheaval. They haven’t given this character any meaty storylines in ages. All the veterans are being treated poorly. More airtime for those valuable performers. Fire the writers, producers and show runners. It’s time for the children of the bells who created this show to step up and turn it back around

Supporting Doug all the way! What is this new regime thinking? Soap fans are all long time loyal viewers, I feel they dont know their audience.

Doug does not deserve to be treated like this after so many wonderful years in his role as Paul Williams. Please save his role and preserve his place in the history of this great show.

Please don’t make this huge mistake! He is one of the only long time characters left. What the hell are you thinking?! I promise you, you will lose many viewers if he does not come back.

Keep Doug Davidson on YR! 40 years of loyalty have been thrown to the curb. #YR you have really made a mistake.

I am so inhappy with your writers and the way you are disposing of great, more experienced actors. Maybe you have forgotten but Paul Williams is a staple of Y&R. Don’t forget what loyalty is about. I want him back with a real storyline. I am losing interest and faith on a soap I have watched since day 1! Doug deserves a good role back!

Please keep Paul on the show. Many of us older fans watch only because of the actors who have been on the show for 30 or 40 years. If you get rid of the established characters, there's no reason for me to watch.

I have watched Y&R from day 1! Extremely upset with Doug being let go!! Plus I'm one of Ricks biggest fans so Doug needs to stay! I'll have to consider if I keep watching Y&R if Doug doesn't stay!!

I’ve been watching this show for over 38 years. Paul’s character is important on Y & R, He’s one of the constant, classic characters.

I’ve watched Doug Davidson on Y&R for close to his entire 40 years on the show. He is an integral member of the cast and I’m outraged by his dismissal. Do right by this loyal actor and Y&R viewers and bring Doug Davidson back on contract!
All my support to Doug!
