Doug Davidson is not only a great actor, he’s a staple on YR. Letting him go would be a huge mistake.

I love the character. I love that there is a character in a position of authority who is as compassionate as he is! Especially today with all of the law enforcement drama.

Giving your characters that are the basic foundation of Y & R good storylines is what you must balance with the newbies coming in. Doug shines when you give him a great storyline, like the one he had with Patty. Give these great ones like Christian, Tracey, Jess and Beth a nice solid story. It’s been a while. Your foundation (and those characters) is the backbone of the show. They are what keep us watching. Keep Doug!

Please keep Doug on Y&R. 40 years should mean something. This is wrong.

If YR fires Doug Davidson, that will be a MAJOR blow to the show and a outright slap in the face to longtime loyal viewers and fans!!

Doug Davidson is as well known for playing #PaulWilliams as anyone who has played a character for 40 years. Loyalty and being a great actor should be rewarded. Don't follow in other #DAYTIMETVDRANAS who are getting rid of classic soap heroes like #PatchSteveJohnson, #NATHANWEST &# DANTEFANCOLLNERI

Y&R without Doug Davidson...not gonna happen. He is what makes the show and would be a very bad decision to have him be taken off. You would also lose a lot of loyal fans if he were to leave as there would not be a reason to continue watching.
