Doug is a great actor and has been on the show so long that he feels like a friend. I have watched the show since Paul was in school. He is the Y&R.

Its bad enough that you've deleted rolls that are the mainstay to this show but I'm starting to LOSE interest! Doug Davidson is a gem and every time I see him on the show I'm excited to watch his performance! Not to mention the nostalgia factor! GEEZ WHAT ARE YOU THINKING?! PUT HIM BACK IN A ROMANTIC ROLL....YUMMM

Please bring back Doug Davidson.... he has been one of my favorite actors and has been loyal to the show. When you start getting rid of the beloved mainstay people you are going to lose a lot of viewers like me and I've been watching the program since it started..

Y&R you could write a better story line for Paul "Doug Davidson" , he is an original character , stop cutting the originals they can still have a place on the show. Remember their are people living in this world and watching Y&R older than 20's, 30's, 40's, etc.....

What a big mistake you are making. The fans don't like it and we are the ones to make you number 1. With out your fans good bye Young and Restless.

You have got to be kidding me. I've been watching this show since Doug first started. Don't you realize how much viewers LOVE the continuity of these beloved characters? I don't recognize the show anymore. And I don't mean in a good way!

I’ve watch the show from the start. Why would you write off a character that’s been there for 40 years unless he wanted out. Which is not the case. How sad, is this show getting worse with the new writers
