I’ve watched The Young and the Restless from day one. He is one of the characters that many of us have grown up with. They are killing off or firing all of the people that made the show what it once was. You would think CBS would see this and fire Mal Young and anyone else that likes the changes he has made. I don’t think it will be on much longer.

He belongs on the Y&R. The shows direction is letting all the best actors
go. They have plenty of money to renew contracts . They need to re-think there decisions.

Doug has been a loyal, graceful and talented actor. You should consider keeping him as Chief and bringing new guy as new detective.

Have watched this show from the beginning. Seems like there have been a lot of bad decisions made over the last few years.
Will no longer be watching unless you bring back Doug.

Keep Doug Davidson & Paul! He's one of the backbone characters for Y&R. The writing has diminished the character, not Doug's performance. Make him a PI again so he will have better range & depth of character.

How dare CBS throw away all the years to that Doug has given this show? You're destroying Y&R and it's disgusting!

They need to keep such a talented actor as Doug Davidson on the show. We love the character of Paul and they under utilize some of their best people. As well as Eileen Davidson, who has played Ashley for years. Why is Y&R letting these wonderful actors/actresses get away from the show. Please don't let Doug Davidson go!!

Bring him back. He has been an asset to Y&R all these years. Give him a great story line to chew on
