Have watched Y&R since day one. Doug is a dynamic actor and deserves better story lines and needs to continue to be an integral part of the show.

I have been watching The Young and The Restless for over 25 years. I'm tired of the ridiculous story lines. Doug (Paul) goes I go, I'll no longer be viewer.

What kind of person would let an actor who has brought such high ratings to a show that survived as long as it has??Apparently someone without compassion, dignity, and respect. Perhaps someone who thinks only about money.

Letting Doug Davidson go is a foolish decision. With all the new actors coming in it like a whole new show. Seeing Paul walk into the room brings a smile to my and many others face. By letting a beloved character disappear from the canvas it will cause long and loyal fans to turn the channel to reality television rather than YR

It is totally uncalled for to just get rid of the character, unless he wants to leave. Keep him on recurring status. He is one of the original. Rey is new and he is nice looking but I want Doug Davidson to stay.

I have watched Y& R since the 1st day it came on in 1973. My sisters and I were in love with the Brooks brothers and Paul, and for that reason we started watching it, when I was 16 years old. That's ridiculous that you are letting go of Paul. HE NEEDS TO STAY!!
