Paul has played a wonderful part in all these years. I don't think a change in direction will help. Leave it alone.

Been watching Doug since mid 80s. One of the reasons I came back to Y&R was familiar characters like his. Not a way to pay back 40 years of loyal dedication!

I have watched this show since day one and I'm about over watching. All the changes and lost actors that you felt like you knew after over 40 years. So sad. No wonder there aren't many soaps anymore....

I have been watching g Y&R since as far back as 13yrs old and Doug Davidson/Paul Williams is one of my favorite on the show. I don't care what so called "New direction Y&R is going Doug should still be a part of this "New direction". For goodness sakes he's been with the show for 40 plus years!!!!! PLEASE IF IT'S NOT BROKE LEAVE HIM BE!!!!!

I can't believe that Y&R would consider letting Doug go! He's so talented and a big part of Y&R. I won't be watching anymore, unless you bring him back!

Don't let this happen to Doug Davidson (Chief Paul Williams).
He deserves better and should be afforded the same loyalty that he has given to HIS FANS AND CBS. I still cannot comprehend who made such an IDIOTIC DECISION. There have been some questionable decisions made lately by CBS. LET ME TELL YOU I FOR ONE WILL BE ONE LESS LOYAL VIEWER OF CBS SHOWS.
DOUG DAVIDSON (PAUL WILLIAMS) SHOULD FIGHT FOR WHAT'S HIS. AS FAR BACK AS I REMEMBER HE MADE THE ROLE. IF THE LEADERSHIP AT CBS FOLLOW THROUGH WITH THIS INSANE DECISION I WILL SAY GOODBYE TO CBS.
And to Doug Davidson I am positive there are countless places that will SNAP YOU UP IN A HEARTBEAT.
MY SINCEREST WISHES AND BEST OF LUCK.
