We can’t lose Doug!!! I’ve been watching him since the 80s and he is an amazing actor. I have also had the privilege of meeting him and he is a wonderful, kind and very funny person.

Doug Davidson is a great actor with so many wonderful storylines throughout the years. Although us fans enjoy the development of new stories with new characters, there needs to b certain constants in soap operas. They become a 2nd family to us. Taking too many familiar, loved characters off the show begins to unravel the fabric of what makes "The Young and the Restless" so special.
Please bring Mr. Davidson back, permanently. He deserves that.

Doug Davidson should absolutely remain an actor on Young and the Restless untiI he decides it's time to leave. I have watched this Soap for all of his years and he had produced excellent work. Maybe the reason soaps are dying out is not because the lack of viewers but rather the actors that we viewers count on are being replaced. It's great to have new actors and new storylines, but the long standing actor who has proven over many years his worth shouldn't be eliminated. The writers can provide a spot for all if the executives allow them.
