You are doing the exact thing that all companies and media does. Make everything about t by e young people. You have added quite a few young people on the show.

The writers and producers have to be OUT OF THEIR MINDS for letting Doug go! The biggest mistake this show made was getting away from the original families. Don't they realize THAT is where the fan base is? I'm a fan since 1980, and I won't stick around for new characters since Doug has been let go. I'll follow Doug into his next role, whatever it may be. Big mistake that needs to be reconsidered. CBS cannot afford bad decisions right now. Save your ratings and bring him back......

I've watched Y&R from the very birth of the show & I'm telling you, older viewers are loyal. TO A POINT.
If you ditch the older, core cast members you will lose us in droves.

Mr Doug Davidson is a great Actor,. And I don't know how CBS can even think of letting him go . I won't be able to watch the Young and the restless any more. You keep putting all these new people on the show .
