I've watched this show for well over 35 years. It's gone down hill the past couple years. I've stopped watching because they get rid of the best cast members! This is so sad! I'll never watch again!

I have been watching Y&R since the 70's when the was centered around the Brooks and Foster families. I request that Doug Davidson remain on the show as Detective Paul Williams. If you want to add an additional character that's fine, but Doug has to stay. Time to hire new writers.

This is disgraceful for the powers that be to let this kind, great actor go. I think the writers should go. I more or less stopped watching 6 months but I KNOW enough to know what's going on and it's terrible writing and acting. Bring Doug back and get new writers.

Why they keep Tessa who can't sing or act and mumbles her words so bad you never know what she's saying, and axe a great actor and mainstay like Doug makes absolutely NO sense!! I may stop watching

"Paul" is a mainstay of Y&R -- it would be a travesty to let him go. It is not the actors, but the writers who have a duty to provide strong story lines for established characters.

This wonderful actor has been on this show almost from the beginning. He is a central part of the story. Please don't forget that. Keep him on!
