Why get rid of a character that people over 50 relate to and are part of your fan base. Keep him on. Will not support y&r if this continues.

I am a longtime viewer who is very disappointed in how the legacy actors (i.e. backbone) of this soap are being picked off one by one. You think you are "refreshing the show" but in actuality you are alienating your viewers.

Please keep Doug !!! I am 47 and have watched the show since I was a kid with my Mom. It won't be the same if original characters keep being cut.
