Losing all the old familiar faces that we have been watching since the 70s is a little too much for me.

Doug is a great actor, he doesn't need to go! After 4 decades, this is how you treat him? Y'all didn't need to bring ( Rey) in.Doug has helped make the show!! You need to reconsider!!!

Y & R is getting too many new characters and forgetting about actors like Paul and other main characters that made the show a hit.

I was already pretty close to quit watching Y&R.
This will probably end it if they keep letting great actors go.

So sad to see Doug Davidson written off, young and the restless is taking off to many older characters that have made the show what it is

I've been watching this show since the beginning (I was 12). These characters have been the main reason I've been a loyal fan for all these years. If you take them away there is no show. Don't let this happen!

I recently stopped watching after years because the story lines just stink. I would say he is one of the best on the show and it is a shame they are going in a new direction. What is up with the writers on this show. Get some new writers already.
