Please keep Doug Davidson on #Y&R. He is the heart of the show. Doug is a very honest Chief of the police Department and he doesn't play favorites for Victory or any other family with money. I have watched the show from the beginning and when Doug came on the show it was like a breath of fresh air Doug has been on the show forever. We have already lost to many good ppl from back then Like Catherine and Danny and many more.

I have watched this show faithfully for over 40 years and I cannot believe what the writers are doing!!! You have been the #1 top soap for years and now you want to lose that position by losing many loyal fans!!!!! We need new writers so Y&R can stay #1

You can't let Paul Williams go he's like family. A great actor and he's been on Y&R a long time. You don't get rid of original actors like that. Please don't let him go.

To be honest I have never signed a petition before, but this time I feel I must. He is an amazing actor and this is a great character severely needed on this show. His character needs to be returned to the way he always was as the conscious of Genoa City and hero that could always be counted on in a crisis. Without Doug playing Paul the show will almost lose its heart and I wouldn't have to watch that.

If the Y&R is "going in a different direction", SO AM I !!! The vets ARE the Y&R. If you don't have them, then you don't have me. The "new" storylines SUCK!

Why on earth would you get rid of the
Veteran actor? In favor of all these young actors whose storylines that do not make sense. I use to like the storylines, but I see
It sucks. What needed is to replace the writers. See if you can borrow some writers from General Hospital.

I am shocked and amazed that anyone would let Doug Davidson go!! Maybe you should replace the writers if they can not be creative enough to keep a great actor like him on board!! The writers are to interested in creating a Lesbian story line to bring into our homes. Quite frankly Y & R is going to go down the tubes if CBS does not step up’

Please keep Doug on the show. He's the sole reason I began watching 35 years ago and continue to watch. He has given his best to the show and devoted a good portion of his life to playing Paul Williams. Fans love him and he loves his fans. Doug is a great guy all around.
