Where is common decency. This man has done a wonderful job over the years and is a fine actor. Keep Him on the show. You will lose your fans if you don't. What's wrong with CBS????

Horrible that they have done this, I grew up watching the Y & R after school because my mother watch it since she was a kid. She is now 59. I am 33...and I still religiously watch it. It’s so sad to see the original characters who have dedicated their lives to this be treated this way?! What is wrong with the other co workers stand up to this and fight to keep him. But then you know what if they treated him that way why would I want to stay! The relationship would never be the same. Good luck Doug Davidson, hope it does change and you do stay, but if you don’t they are the ones who have lost a good thing.

I can't believe how the show has changed. It is going in a terrible direction and losing its best actors/actresses. I remember growing up with the show with my grandma and I must say I don't have the desire to watch it as much as I have my entire life

I've been watching Y&R since I was a kid! , bc my mother did when I was growing up in the late 70s, had no choice but grew to love it as an adult. It's gotten so bad in the past 5 or 6 months that after 35 yrs , the Show is Losing way, way too many good 1s, repacing them with awful actors & even more awful storylines. Losing Doug Davidson on the Show will be the last straw for me!

I’m a third generation viewer and I’m appalled by the disintegration of Y&R. It’s falling apart a the seams. Please bring Doug back!!!! (And the others that have recently disappeared.) If the writers want to appeal to a younger crowd…then start a whole new show please. God bless you Doug!!
