My thing with DD gone as Paul. Jack/Victor/Phyllis will get away with things. Rey has no emotional weight to hold them acountable. At least with Paul, it would be hard for them to lie to him. Rey is a stranger. So I don't see the point of making him the top cop. It should be Paul and Rey solving cases and Paul's daughter Heather comes back as a PI and all three of them solving cases and Heather and Rey falling in love. Rey's ex wife falls for Billy.

Bring back Doug Davidson!! Why the hell did you get rid of him in the first place? He was a very important staple in The Young and the Restless and now he is gone for absolutely no reason. And where the hell are the seasoned actors? I heard that Eric Braeden is on vacation and I surely hope that he returns and that you do not do another number on him as was done to Doug. I heard that there were about a million people who stopped watching the show or a number that high. Even if Doug was not on contract anymore, we should have all been alerted that he was leaving like they did with Eileen Davidson who is no relation to Doug. We knew she was leaving for several months. That part I understand. Why on God's green earth was Doug let go that quickly? He is the nicest man with the Kindest Heart. I think you should bring Doug back and get rid of Mal Young! So that is what I am petitioning for. Why are there so many kids on the show? I feel like I am watching Sesame Street. This is not a soap opera anymore. It is a kids show. I have been watching almost since the show's Inception in 1972. It was a half hour show then. There is still no explanation from the network why Doug was let go that quickly. I am angry at the Bell family for letting this happen and for letting Mal Young ruin the show. The situation has to be rectified or everyone will stop watching. I think that is what they want so the ratings go down and they can just cancel this show. I know there are characters on the show that do not have contracts right now. I was told the dog was one of them. If you bring those characters back, the ratings will go up once again so that the network has money to put the season actors back on the payroll and back on the show where they belong! Right now, all I can say is BRING BACK DOUG!!!

We watch good soaps for the acting and The continuity of characters story lines over the entire life of the cream of the actors. Doug should be one.
