Stop gaslighting the fans with the action of Doug Davidson's firing. You're playing around with your viewership. It's not an anger thing for me, but I simply cannot watch without him. It doesn't seem right to my eyes when he's not on. I guess 40 loyal years has to count for something right? You don't have to throw out the veterans to make way for the new. Build the new around the veterans. You want to keep your main audience and grow on that. In reality you are decreasing what you have, and gain very little new viewers.

Truly a shame absolutely miss seeing him on the show. Waste of a good actor you could do so much with the character and he could bring so much to the show if written in for him. Bring back Doug Davidson.

This is one of the most disappointing moves the show has ever made, and there have been plenty. Just watch the scenes where he deals with the loss of his son. Or all those scenes with Patty. That is acting at it's best.
