my son is failing because he basically has to teach himself everything every night. its not working and they need to go back to regular lessons.
honestly this is exactly what i was thinking. its way to much pressure for kids just starting high school. just explain the material like a normal person.
I agree with Heidi. Yet, this new ‘teaching’ method is a bit difficult for new freshies trying to get the hang of highschool math. Maybe if it was tested for a week or so, to see how the students liked and apapted to it, then the higher up officials would know if it was time to make the change. SIGN THIS PETITION!
It is my opinion that if the weight for tests was reduced and the weight for homework was raised it would allow more students a passing grade. It would reward students for doing the homework and putting in the effort.
Program should be changed asap. It’s too hard and teachers don’t do anything it’s a waste of time

FIX THIS ASAP. math is already stressful enough without having to guess what the lesson is supposed to be.
