In the recent days, Northampton Area School District announced that 0 general admission tickets will be sold to the public for all sports. We must stand up to support our kids, athletes, students, and seniors. By signing this petition, you are standing up to support the great Konkrete Kids in their sports seasons, and some, their last.

I just looked at the screen and saw we actually hit one hundred signatures which is honestly way faster than I expected (I thought it would just be me and maybe my mom). It feels pretty wild to see this many people who actually care about the Konkrete Kids having fans in the stands right now.

If restaurants and gyms can have up to 50% capacity, there is no reason why the same can't hold true for sporting events. These events are school functions and any student should be allowed to attend to support their classmates.
My son is a senior. He has already been robbed of so much due to COVID. This is not the soccer season he was hoping for, but it is his final season. He wants his grandparents and friends to be able to watch him play and celebrate his final season. He wants to celebrate his friends' final season. Please honor these kids.
These kids need the support of their family and friends in the stands. They have worked tirelessly all summer and are abiding by all health protocols. Fans can do the same. There is a safe way to do this with the size of our stadium.
I believe that these kids need the support of their parents and fans in person especially outside sporting events can be held without the worries of the public , it is my wish that the board would do the right thing for these kids and their future and allow them to have fans in the stands for support !!
Families should not have to choose which family members are able to attend with families that have more than two people. For families to choose between a parent or a sibling to go to a game is not fair.
Important for all kids to be involved.
No reason why fans should be banned. People making these decisions had their time of fame in past years so let these kids do the same! It’s not like there will be 100,000 people sitting on top of each other. Stands are half empty anyway.

As a baseball coach where we have played all summer without limitations, I support this petition. Sports are for the entire student body, not just the athletes
