I played most of my Senior year season on neutral fields because of a drainage issue and harsh weather. It stunk. Let them play.
The track isn’t even needed for the fall! As a long time Westport resident, going to the games on Friday night is a huge part of the fall! It just wouldn’t be the same playing at someone else’s stadium. Let’s use some common sense and let the boys play!
Staples football deserves to play their home games on their new field. Football generates revenue and school pride and it would be a disservice to the town of Westport to make staples play their home games elsewhere!
Let them play football on their new home field. Why can’t they build a temporary plywood walkway to cross 20 ft of unfinished track?
I do track all year round. This is necessary. I am willing to sacrifice my track for some home games
Having grown up in Westport we were lucky to enjoy years of home games. Now i am excited my sisters kids are at Staples and they are excited for football season — let them play!! Go Wreckers
Save the field for the kids. Westporters can afford to help out.

As I football player myself, playing at home is night and day in the game of football. Let the boys ball. I am willing to chip in if compensation is needed. You know how to reach me coach!
