The university has officially confirmed that Dr. Dwor will be staying with us. I am beyond relieved that her brilliance will remain in our classrooms where it belongs. Thank you for helping me protect the future of our department.

Final supporters
Universities have changed with the dramatic rise in the cost of higher education, and students paying the higher fees demand more from their university. This means that more focus needs to be given to the teaching side of an academic's career as students become paying customers of a multi-million pound business. So when a lecturer is genuinely enthusiast and makes students look forward to lectures, this should be encouraged and emulated. Dr. Dwor is one of these lecturers whose enthusiasm has been unceasing throughout my degree (from EN1010 to the dissertation lecture). A lecturer who is both passionate and knowledgable, and who inspires students to be equally passionate.
Please see sense and keep one of the best assets that the English department have at the University of Leicester so she can continue to inspire success.

Seeing one hundred people sign this in such a short time confirms exactly what I felt about Dr. Dwor's impact on our department. She has been the highlight of my entire degree and I am grateful that so many of you agree she belongs here.

Seeing this much support rush in confirms exactly what I felt during my own lectures with Dr. Dwor. It turns out I am not the only one who refuses to watch such an inspiring educator leave our department.

These short term contracts are a problem with academics in general. The college should move to tighten up its guidelines on this so less academics are left uncertain.
Richa is honestly the highlight of the lit department. Would be a huge mistake to let her go.
The uni really needs to stop treating staff like disposable items. She taught me so much for my final year project.
Absolute shame she has to deal with this job insecurity. She is a top tier academic.
PLEASE keep her on. Her lectures are the only ones I actually wake up for.
Dr Dwor was the most inspiring dissertation tutor I could have hoped for.

I had her for two modules and she was brilliant. Leicester needs more lecturers like her.
