let keepsakes and memories be left on clipstone cemetery graves

People have the right to put keepsakes on their families graves.

I have been visiting this cemetery for 25 years and its breath taking. Sadly it is now going to be so bare. Heartbreaking

I have 5 family member down there and it always looks beautiful with our people put flowers and teddy bears and Christmas trees so there love ones dont miss out ... So please you need to stop trying to tell people what they can and cant do to there love ones graves This is heartbreaking x

You should be able to put there what u like it's the last thing you can do

100% behind this,i have my dad & grandads grave here & we take wreaths every year for xmas,its our way of still thinking of them,please dont take that away from us .

My daughter grave here and a few of my friend love seeing it colourful with bits and Bob's on them makes it special to people

I heartely approve of momentos being kept. it is a much needed comfort to us showing our love and remembrance to our dearly departed loved ones.

Let familys be able to leave wjat they want at there relatives and friends graves, its so wrong your disrespecting the ones who have passed away, if a family tends and keeps it tidy and nice what is the problem

We lost our Dad on the 26th October 2019. He has a loving wife and four daughters all of whom wish to show their love and respect to a very special man. Are you now saying that the flowers we place for him in vases next to his headstone, there will be 6 of these neatly placed and looking tidy will be removed on the Thursday? That’s without his 20+ grandchildren showing respect. These new rules are creating a lot of unnecessary emotional trauma to many families who regularly tend their loved ones resting place. The one thing we have always taken comfort from is how colourful and well kept the cemetery looks. Don’t change something that isn’t broken, for what? Please explain. Show some compassion for the those resting and their families.

Please allow people to grieve, celebrate and remember the way they want to. Sending love to everyone who has been affected so far xxx

Heartbreaking

Heartbreaking. Anxiety levels soaring.

My 17 year old daughter's twin sister as been berried there 17 years as she only lived 10 hour. My daughter feels a bond and at piece when she goes to her grave. My daught has suffered with loosing her twin or self arming and serveally depressed. It's only place she goes to feel close to her twin and she's made that grave lovely. If she had to take it all off i no she will suffer badly

I have loved ones here. Including my Dad, Grandad, and great grandparents. This cannot go ahead.
