The cemetery authorities have reversed the ruling and confirmed that personal mementos may remain on the graves. This outcome honors the families who simply wanted to preserve those small ties to their loved ones. We will remain observant to ensure this policy is upheld in the long term.
There comes a time in life where we have to say goodbye to loved ones and lay them to rest .This is the hardest thing in life that we ever have to do we decorate the graves with special things and memories but now where told we have to remove all of them this is so wrong on every level please feel free to voice your opinions as this will be strongly noted and taken forward to the mp and local newspapers
Mental health awareness come into play, people need to grieve in their way, share their memories, not forget. This is barbaric and dam right ridiculous. People need their moments sitting, remembering, talkin sharing a little figure that brings back a find memory. Just leave everyone alone x

People should be allowed to place whatever they like for their loved ones as long as it is within their plot and kept tidy. Asking people to move these items is a disgrace, causing so much more grief for families!! The people doing this obviously have no compassion and must not have lost someone close to them!!

My little granddaughter went through bereavement councilling when her mama died. The councillor suggested she takes gifts to the cemetery. What will this do to her and other children like her?? Please think what you are doing to them. !!!

I go and visit my grandparents graves regular and have moment with them surrounded by our memories and keepsakes. Makes it that bit easier to deal with them not being here! Taking these away will destroy our hearts, please don’t let this happen and ruin our time with our loved ones rest places!

Leave the graves alone, let the dead rest in peace with the dignity they deserve
