The district has confirmed that Anthony Garcia and Mr. Godinez will remain at our school. We have secured their positions and confirmed they are not being transferred. I will monitor the staff assignments over the coming term to ensure this decision remains permanent.

Final supporters
I am one of many students who thinks Godinez has the best security guards on campus! They make everyone smile and have the kindest hearts! They both do tremendous work to make our school a better place. Mr. Anthony Garcia plays the role of a security guard at our school as well as one of the freshman football team's coaches. He has a unique personality and always puts others first. Mr. Godinez has an amazing sense of humor and always makes time out of his way to help a student in need. Both of these grizzlies have been an amazing member of our grizzly community. We love our grizzly family and will fight for both of these amazing grizzlies who have offered a lot to our school. Please let them stay.

The petition reached 100 signatures this morning. I am finalizing a formal letter to the administration outlining why these staff members must remain at our school. I expect to deliver this document to the district office early next week.

These gentlemen know the students and have saved many students from doing something stupid. As a parent, we talk about safety for the kids, they make it happen
2 of my kids graduated from Godinez, and I have a sophomore right now at school. I have met Anthony at school games and he is always aware of his surroundings and taking care of his students. Please keep him at Godinez!!!!
He's been here since the school first opened, that's 10 years. How are you going to transfer someone who's been at the school for 10 years?! He's helped so many amazing people and he has such a kind heart.
Anthony was the only caring and professional security guard Godinez has ever had. He truly connected with the students background wise and inspired many of us to pursue a college education. He values Godinez because all his daughters have attended Godinez. He is a true grizzly.
I graduated two years ago and i can still remember the wise words he used to tell me "never give up " . He should continue pushing our grizzlies !! If i was ever having a bad day he will find a way to cheer me up or anyone else's .
He is an amazing security guard.

I was at godinez from 08-2010 "the first class" these two gentlemen have been great for the school. If there is no need to transfer why transfer for the sake of transferring? Why not let them have a consistent place of employment where the students are clearly enameled with them. It's wrong to transfer them just to bring in two other people in.
