Gone are the days when anyone gets away with a land grab. This is not good for Lemont. Palos will have to purchase additional land from a legitimate buyer.

Even if you have signed the petition, PLEASE call and send letters and emails to ALL of the Cook County Commissioners (including President Preckwinkle) and let them know of your opposition to this annexation. The Board needs to understand what a negative impact the annexation will have on Lemont and its citizens. We need to make them aware and ask them to vote no to the Forest Preserve annexation!
